On Saturday, in south-central Chile, in the mountain chain Puyeue-Cordon Caulley eruption of the volcano, who was sleeping over 50 years. Authorities evacuated several thousand residents, when the volcano began spewing ash to a height of more than 10 km in the direction of nearby Argentina. After several earthquakes officials announced elevated levels of anxiety in the area of the volcano, where in some places up to 230 tremors occurred in an hour.
